Description
This remarkable and mind-boggling handwoven dupatta in silk is a rich, fabulous and gorgeous handcrafted piece. The dupatta has been exclusively designed with the phenomenal combination of run stitch Sujini embroidery and Madhubani art in Kutchni and Bharni styles. The center portion of the dupatta is adorned with a big mandala artwork based on floral, fish, bird and peacock motifs in addition with geometric patterns. The rest of the dupatta is filled with paisley motif flowers in an intricate and rhythmic pattern. It has also a beautiful border hand-painted in Kutchni style in with floral motifs assigned into patterns. Two traditional colors, red and green together make the hand-painted richness livelier with fine black outlines and double lines. The whole of the dupatta has very fine, thin and multiple run stitches embracing the traditional style of Sujini embroidery creating an exquisite linear pattern.
