Description
This Desi tussar silk dupatta is wonderfully hand-painted on both of its ends breadthwise with rich Rama, Sita traditional Madhubani artwork using both the Kutchni and Bharni styles. The Rama, Sita artwork comprises of the marriage scene, exchanging the pious garlands showcasing the age-old traditional Hindu wedding ritual of ‘Jaimala’. In addition to it, fish, floral and geometric motifs also adorn the whole artwork with much grace and ethnic beauty making it one of its kind.
Bright hues of red, green, orange and blue along with fine black double lines and outlines make the piece a traditional must-have from or dupatta section. Small floral butis have been also hand-painted in the remaining space of the dupatta, leaving the borders.
